Oliver Wong is a Taiwan-born stand-up comedian, director, writer, and producer based in Los Angeles. He moved to the United States in 2015 to study film and screenwriting. At the time, he barely spoke English, didn't know anyone, and had no idea what a stop sign is. (They don't have those in Taiwan.)

From 2021 to 2024, he somehow got into directing, writing, and producing adult films — work recognized by both AVN and XBIZ, the two most prestigious award bodies in the adult entertainment industry. Not his original plan when he immigrated to the US, but it made for a wild experience and tons of comedy materials.

His comedy is inspired by his experiences as a gay Taiwanese immigrant, his former career in the adult industry, dating, his money-obsessed mom and alcoholic dad, and just being an ADHD, burnt-out millennial.

He also produces Drunk on Boba, a stand-up show combining live comedy with boba drinks and cocktails, and writes a blog called Notes I Write When I Should Be Working on Substack. When he's not performing, he's usually drinking boba or hanging out with his rescue dog, Oscar, a German Shepherd–Corgi mix.
